Not only China, you heard the news about North Korea. Kim Jong Un's uncle was executed, and people are worried that Kim Jong behavior may be a bit unstable after the execution meaning he could do another misslle tests. |

Japan needs real army and real weapons to defend itself against any danger when WW3 breaks out ( US Russia China etc.. )

Seriously, this is really low, using a fictional and beloved (I think) character to promote enlisting in the army. Sure there's the demographic of the work but...seriously guys? |

Oh, like we're any better-- Anyone remember those USMC recruitment commercials from the (pre-Iraq) 80's, that tried to persuade us that being a Marine was like being a "modern-day knight", and pitched images of fighting dragons and chess warriors to SFX fantasy/gamer fans? (Oh, were THEY hitting the wrong demographic...Nobody I remember from HS Chess or D&D club ever made it into the Corps.  )

Or the fact that military recruiters try to liken playing Call of Duty to wanting to be an actual Marine. They'll do anything to get more recruits. I don't see how using Golgo 13 is a low for them.

I have an affection for Japan, but uh... I feel hesitant to support them having a real, standing military force.
And I doubt Duke Togo, an assassin who isn't especially particular about his clients, would be a military cheerleader. |
