Beautiful. Not just the PV but the character designs as well. I recently finished reading the manga and very excited to see more Aria again.

Been awhile since I've finished the anime series.

Interesting that they are not going to find a replacement voice actor for Athena. I guess they will use spoken parts from the previous series. If i recall correctly she actually had 2 different voice actors, one for singing and one for spoken parts. Unfortunately both have passed away.

Ai is now a single. At the flash forward at the end of 'Aria the Origination' she had recently joined Aria Company and is a pair, so this must be set even further into the future.

All in all I'm really looking forward to the relaxing experience that is Aria!

So is Avvenire a special or a season 4? Either way, I'm still surprised we're getting more ARIA after all these years.

It's not clear but this info suggests that the premier is around the start of last cour of 2015 so it suggests that it is one cour.

what # season would this be?

I saw maybe 2-3 seasons of Aria from way back.

I enjoy watching slice of life series. They are peaceful--- and um--- my natural remedy when i have problem sleeping.

until they provided more detail about the mascot in later episode of season 1-- i've always thought it was a dog! Laughing

Recap scenes? Flashbacks? voice samples? I'm confused. But very happy. She was/is (Forever) one of my favorite seiyuu. RIP. As for Athena's singing voice, I believe that was Eri Kawai. Both Kawakami and Kawai were also in the Air movie (Mizusu, and theme song). I can't watch it anymore :\

The Eiren logo (plus Shochiku) seems to suggest it will premiere in theaters, so maybe a movie or ova. Unless they are only premiering the first episode in the theaters.

Considering Athena is usually silent and mumbles through her day, maybe they have a whole bunch of unused mumbles she recorded in older shows. Too bad she can't really talk in depth to the characters unless they get someone to emulate her.

What lazy fool keeps putting the same blurb at the end of each Aria article? Right Stuf's name only has one 'F' and Tokyopop never finished their re-release of the manga. Well, looking forward to seeing the same inaccurate information sloppily copy-pasted into the next Aria article.

I bet asking the staff and cast to return to making more Aria wasn't very hard to do. I know I said that it was probably a good thing for the show to make a proper end and... you know, end... but boy, did I get that statement challenged in the biggest of ways.

Aria is also getting a Blu-ray release - I don't think I'd be able to afford it even if I wanted it without subs.

As for the new project, Athena won't be getting much screen time, which means less interaction with Alice Sad

Any idea if right stuff will bring out the blu ray's seeing as they have not done a blu ray yet. I want to get this series but will hold off if the blu ray editions will come out here

Except for the newest season, Aria's probably not worth the wait on BD. It's not exactly an expensive series, so digitally upscaling won't be friendly on it.
