I've read the manga adaptation of the novel, which has much less characters. It's more of a mind game and less of an action genre, so it's good. And spy drama in older era without 'magical gadget' is indeed interesting.
I'm not sure though just how faithful the manga and this anime adopt the novel. |

Goodness, Production I.G. If they wanted to make the next Free!, I bet they could outdo KyoAni's numbers. I wish they would one day.
This is looking good though. Just enough tension and excitement for the setting. I'm looking forward to it. |

Pein, Kaiba, Lelouch, and the new Yamato Ishida star in this series? Awesome. Considering that each seiyuu has voiced major roles in hit anime, I would say that this could look good on their resumes.
