I hope the crowdfunding will be a success. I would love to see what will become of these characters post-show.

I hope that's a translation problem in that statement; perhaps they meant something along the lines of "they litter the landscape!". If not, I'm not sure they'll encourage their main potential funders -- those who actually like moe characters -- to contribute to a group who states they want to get rid of moe characters.

These designs look nice, particularly Moe&Rei Uzumasa. Any idea who the artist might be?

That's what I was thinking about. Don't women ride the subway? They could take a hint from MT and create some bishie characters to use alongside the moe girls. Not on the same trains though, I guess. Don't want the otaku getting jealous. Smile

Yeah, it means that they litter the landscape. The "need to" bit wasn't technically there but it's hard to translate without it.

Thanks, that's good to know.

I've seen several of these crowdfunding efforts in Japan that I wish I could chip in for, but there are probably too few folks outside Japan willing to do that for it to be worth the crowdfunders time to hassle with international complications.
