The official Twitter account for Shueisha's V Jump magazine revealed on Friday that Bandai Namco Entertainment's Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission game for the Nintendo Switch will launch in Japan on April 4.
The game will include 1,160 cards and 350 characters from the first eight Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card games, as well as the first two versions of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission. The game will feature a split screen mode that emulates the Super Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game's two-screen gameplay, and will also feature seven-on-seven battles.
The latest installment in the game series is Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission, which Bandai released in arcades in Japan on March 8. The games inspired a promotional anime project that debuted with two episodes in July. The third episode debuted on September 5 and the fourth episode debuted on September 26. The fifth episode debuted on October 28.
Bandai Namco Games released the first Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission game, a Nintendo 3DS port of the Dragon Ball Heroes game, in 2013. Bandai Namco Games released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 Nintendo 3DS game in 2014, and released the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X game for the 3DS in April 2017.
