Girls und Panzer Girls Become Waitresses for Restaurant Collaboration
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
For the Girls und Panzer film's latest collaboration, the anime's characters will transform into waitresses at the chain restaurant Coco's. The campaign will run from January 19 to March 1.
People who order from the collaboration set menu will receive one of six themed A4-size clear files. A new file will be available every week. The collaboration menu includes beef hamburg steak (seen below), seafood soup spaghetti, and Coco's wrapped grilled hamburg steak sets.
A "recommended menu" of six dishes will also debut with the collaboration. However, these items do not come with a clear file. The character-inspired options are strawberry roll crepe, chicken karaage, big rice, Belgian chocolate brownie parfait, Hokkaido cream cheese baked cheese cake, and matcha ice cream.
People who eat at Coco's restaurants for the collaboration will be able to use their receipts to enter online for a prize drawing. The lottery will give 300 people real Boko teddy bears and sets of two A3-size key visual posters.
Select Coco's restaurants throughout Japan will display life-size cutouts of Girls und Panzer characters. The Coco's in the anime's setting of Ōarai, Ibaraki will be wrapped in collaboration art. In addition, a special Panzer tank cake will only be available at that restaurant.
The characters of Love Live! also put on aprons in January 2016 for a similar collaboration with the restaurant chain.
