Irregular at Magic High School AnimeJapan Booth Will Measure Your Magic Power

The irregular at magic high school booth at this month's AnimeJapan event will transform into the "Labratory of Magicraft" and give attendees a chance to measure their magical potential. The booth will be Japan's first magical engineering research exhibition and will be staffed by volunteer researchers aiming to make magic a reality. They will measure visitors' "Psion" using a device developed by Sony and other participating companies.
The device is known as CAD (Casting Assistant Device) which uses a "loop cast" to control multiple actions. Irregular at Magic High School characters Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba will serve as guides during the process.

The AnimeJapan 2017 event will be the convention's fourth event, and will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight, with industry-only days on March 23-24, and public days on March 25-26. AnimeJapan had announced on December 8 that the 2017 convention will feature 182 companies, an increase over last year. The convention will exhibit 158 companies in the main area and 52 companies in the business area.
The Gekijōban Mahōka Kōkō no Rettōsei: Hoshi o Yobu Shōjo (The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Calls the Stars) anime film will open in Japan on June 17.
