An official website for the TV anime adaptation of Akamitsu Awamura's Seiken Tsukai no World Break light novel series opened on Thursday, and lists the cast and staff for the series.
Takayuki Inagaki will direct the anime at Diomedia (Gingitsune, My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy) with Masakazu Ishikawa (Campione, Kodomo no Jikan) is adapting refeia's original character designs for the series. Hiroshi Yamaguchi (Gingitsune, Comic Party) will handle series composition.
The cast from the original drama CD will return in the anime, with:
Ayana Taketatsu as Satsuki Ranjō
Aoi Yuki as Shizuno Urushibara
The "campus sword & sorcery" story is set in a private high school that brings together "saviors," youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.
Softbank Creative's GA Bunko imprint launched the light novel series in 2012 with illustrations by refeia (Koiken! ~ Watashi-tachi Anime ni Natchatta! ~). A manga adaptation will run in Kadokawa's Monthly Comp Ace magazine.
