Aniplus Asia Airs The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Deca-Dence Anime

Mr Love: Queen’s Choice anime also streams on Aniplus-Asia

Aniplus-Asia announced on Monday that it will air simulcasts for the The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Deca-Dence, and Mr Love: Queen’s Choice anime. While the first two anime are available throughout Southeast Asia through Aniplus-Asia's television channel, Mr Love: Queen’s Choice is only available in Singapore through Aniplus-Asia's website.

The television anime of Shu's The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants (Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkō e Kayō) light novel series will premiere on Aniplus-Asia on July 4 at 12:00 a.m. GMT +8.

The series will premiere in Japan on July 4. The anime was originally scheduled for an April premiere. It was delayed to July due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic affecting the production schedule.

Shin Oonuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, A Sister's All You Need) is the chief director for the anime, and Masafumi Tamura (Two Car, Wise Man's Grandchild) is the director with Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun's Revenge, Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou) credited as assistant director. SILVER LINK is producing the animation. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi (Chaos;Child) is adapting Yoshinori Shizuma's original character designs for animation. Jin Tanaka (Laid-Back Camp) is in charge of series scripts. Ryousuke Naya is the sound director, and Keiji Inai is composing the music.

Civilian is performing the opening theme song "Seikai Fusaikai" (Correct Incorrect). Tomori Kusunoki is performing the ending theme song "Hamidashimono."

Square Enix is publishing Kayaharuka's manga adaptation of the novels in English under the title The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants, and the company describes the manga's story:

Despite their appetite for destruction, even demon kings tire of all the blood and chaos sometimes! When Anoth reincarnates in the hopes of a more peaceful life, he ends up going to school with his descendants in his old castle 2,000 years later. But with magic on its last legs in this era, no one is able to assess Anoth's true power!

The original television anime series Deca-Dence will premiere on Aniplus-Asia on July 8 at 12:00 a.m. GMT +8. The anime will premiere in Japan on July 8.

Aniplus-Asia describes the anime:

Many years have passed since humanity was driven to the brink of extinction by the sudden emergence of the unknown life forms Gadoll. Those humans that survived now dwell in a 3000m-high mobile fortress Deca-dence built to protect themselves from the Gadoll threat.

Denizens of Deca-dence fall into two categories: Gears, warriors who fight the Gadoll daily, and Tankers, those without the skills to fight. One day, Natsume, a Tanker girl who dreams of becoming a Gear meets surly Kaburagi, an armor repairman of Deca-dence.

This chance meeting between the seemingly two opposites, the girl with a positive attitude who never gives up on her dreams and the realist who has given up on his, will eventually shake the future course of this world.

Yuzuru Tachikawa (Mob Psycho 100, Death Parade) is directing the "sci-fi action" anime at NUT (Saga of Tanya the Evil). Hiroshi Seko, who collaborated with Tachikawa on both seasons of Mob Psycho 100, is penning the show's script. pomodrosa (Listeners) is credited for character concept design, with Shinichi Kurita (Death Parade) designing the characters for animation. Masahiro Tokuda (Last Hope) is composing the music.

Konomi Suzuki will perform the anime's opening theme song "Theater of Life." Kashitarō Itō is performing the ending theme song "Kioku no Hakobune" (Ark of Memories).

The television anime of Papergames' Koi to Producer: EVOLxLOVE (Mr Love: Queen’s Choice) otome romance game will debut on Aniplus-Asia's website in Singapore on July 15 at 11:30 p.m. GMT +8. The series will premiere in Japan on July 15.

In the anime's story, the heroine inherited a company from her late father and is now in charge of a television program as its producer. However, the company is on the brink of bankruptcy due to the lack of capital. While trying to save her father's once popular program and company, she meets four potential "boyfriends." However, before she knows it, she is caught in a huge conspiracy over special powers known as "EVOL."

Munehisa Sakai (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal, Zombie Land Saga, One Piece) is directing the anime at MAPPA, and Jinshichi Yamaguchi (Oshiete Mahō no Pendulum: Rilu Rilu Fairilu) is designing the characters. Kiyoko Yoshimura (Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-, Riddle Story of Devil, Garo -Vanishing Line-) is in charge of the series scripts, and Emoto Entertainment is producing.

Yūtarō Miura will perform the opening theme song "Nibiiro no Yoake" (Dark Gray Dawn), and Konomi Suzuki will perform the ending theme song "Maioritekita Yuki" (Snow That Flies Down).
