Dark Horse and Media Blasters were there too - I'm working on the reports now. But, unfortunately, not Viz or Tokyopop or CMX...

ALC and DramaQueen were there also, for the yuri and yaoi fans in the crowd, respectively...

All I can say is stayed tuned, we'll be making an annoucement regarding a Tezuka title in the coming months. Very Happy

Song for Apollo?

... It's partially based on THAT infamous Chinese fairy tale? Lawd, not only did Tezuka cover every single story, but Toriyama ain't got jack on him!

But yeah, like I said earlier, more Tezuka is something I'll easily go for.

I just now heard about MangaNEXT, and I thought it was pretty interesting that it was our first manga convention, so I type it in Google, and guess what I find? IT WAS IN SECAUCUS, NJ! That's less than an hour and a half away from where I live! I could have went!

Now that I'm so interested, where these the only two companies there, or were there more? Anime cry

MangaNEXT was pretty small, so from what I remember, I think they were the only ones. Most of the panels were just specific manga discussions and other things pertaining to manga.

That site actually linked to the wrong manga ^_~ This is the correct link on the Tezuka site for Song for Apollo:

... Oh, well, that certainly looks significantly more interesting. The Song of Apollo is now on my wish list.

Regardless, I still stand by my previous statement.
