Shomin Sample sounds like it could be a funny show. I'll decide to ignore what seems like a "forced harem" situation.

This will be terrible but I will watch it for the desu was and ojou laughs.
Hopefully they'll cast Itou Shizuka and Chihara Minori for maximum ojou.

Just "Shomin Sample". Probably would get even shorter for the anime release.
The LN is pretty interesting, I picked it up a long time ago when it was adapted into a drama CD. All you need to know is that tsunpure is everything.
Rant: It seems that anything I affix my eyes on gets an anime adaptation. Anything except poor World Embryo. I've been waiting for many years and all we got so far is a rather recent drama CD.

Yuuuup. Because this terrible premise wasn't terrible enough! |
If you're worried that means he's going to act the part of the stereotypically offensive gay man, don't be. He acts normal, though occasionally he'll have to accept some muscle magazines with a smile.
As for the "lone guy in an all girls school" thing, that premise isn't that tired. I mean, aside from this one, Infinite Stratos and Blade Dance are the only two anime to use it.

I can't think of ones that are exactly the same, because there's either cross dressing involved or it's a school that was all-girls but recently became co-ed.
Even though, that 2nd type still ends up seeming like one guy surrounded by girls due other males rarely, if ever, being shown or having involvement in the story.
I would say there are more series that are "guy stuck joining a club/student council that is made up of girls". GJ-bu, Haganai, and Seitokai Yakuindomo/no Ichizon are some recent(ish) examples.
And, by the sounds of this, it seems like we'd see more of a club setting rather than a class setting? I mean, it'll be a group that would be involved in seeing how the other half live, rather than a school life setting...if that makes any sense.
Premise isn't exactly the same, but wouldn't be surprised if they feel similar due to lack of other males in the other series I mentioned.
