So in the battle of Chivalry of the Failed Knight and Asterisk War, Chivalry comes out on top. Well fought.

Thanks again for doing this! I've not commented but I've read this every week, and it even made me try a couple of series.

Chivalry was easily the dark horse of the season. On the other hand, it was pretty much the only series I watched this season even if I tried six of them.

I just hope that the show is given a chance now rather than dismissed as like any other.

Rakudai takes home the LN Battle School Gold! I'm glad to see that other people recognized its relative quality.
And now a moment of silence for AntiMagic Academy, and all of its abused fans.

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone that One Punch comes out on top.
Naruto's poor showing is likely due to the fillers dominating the season. Even die-hard fans are waiting until the fillers end.

Is One Piece in filler-land also? I was surprised how much lower it is than last season.

No, it's just been moving slowly for a while and building up to the climax of the current arc. If the manga's anything to go by, it'll probably pick up soon.

I only watched 4 series this season (which is actually more then most), but it's nice to see them in the top 6.
As I said in the 2015 wrap up, I'll have to watch Cavalry at some point, and this didn't dissuade that. That's quite some rise in the ranks.

with the manga getting break a bit too frequent lately...
each episode is around 18-19 minutes? (estimates)... if you chop the op+previous on+ed+next on
but within that 18-19 minutes they drag it out...
it's probably best to jump to the manga if you can't handle the anime being dragged out like this each episode..

The filler didn't just dominate the season, it was the entirety of the season. They literally filled the ENTIRE season with filler, even though the manga ended a long time ago.
It's embarrassing. They should be ashamed of themselves. There is still going to be more Naruto content coming in, there's no reason to beat the dead horse.
