What my ratings mean:

10: as close to perfect as anything can get
9.5: amazing anime that just blows me away
9.4: distinctly better than a 9 but just short of a 9.5
9: a great anime that I would 100% recommend, the highest rating I'll give most things
8.9: has just a few issues holding it back from greatness
8.5: very good, I'd probably recommend it
8: good, not amazing but a fun watch
7.9: solid series with some noticeable problems
7.5: decent, not too notable but still enjoyable
7: has several distinct issues but still worth watching
6: worth watching if you're a major fan of the genre or franchise, otherwise not worth it
<6: not worth watching
