Alternative title:
Sword Art Online: Progressive - Hoshi Naki Yoru no Aria (Japanese)
劇場版 ソードアート・オンライン プログレッシブ 星なき夜のアリア (Japanese)
Plot Summary: 15-year-old Asuna is smart, rich, beautiful, and popular—yet her life is far from a happy one. Her mother is the ultimate controlling parent who believes that even being the best isn't good enough. The only time Asuna can relax and truly be herself is in the presence of her secret friend, Misumi, a girl as smart as Asuna but far from the social butterfly that Asuna appears to be. Seeing the stress weighing on Asuna, Misumi suggests they play a new game together—a game called Sword Art Online. Now the pair of girls are trapped in the VR death game with experienced gamer Misumi trying desperately to teach Asuna what she needs to survive. But in a world so full of danger and a player death toll already in the hundreds, even that might not be enough to keep the pair alive.
