I know that Black Lotus is before Blade Runner 2049, but does someone know if I should watch the movie first? Or can I just jump straight into this anime?

I don't think you need to watch either of the movies, especially if you've read the first ANN review. The review doesn't spoiler things particularly, but it does talk about the general topics of this franchise.
