Anime Network had a thing said # days left and someone guessed that it would be Highschool of the dead. He was right and I figured that was true once I realize the first episode was monday which was what numbers of days left equaled to. Good pick up and glad it's getting dubbed too.

So that means Section23 is about to reclaim the mantle ADV held in 2003-2006? |

I don't remember Satelite calling themselves Madhouse. Even if Madhouse did have some involvement on MF with inbetweening or what have you, why in the name of God do you list an anime that isn't their primary work instead of the other 30-odd great Madhouse titles are are worth mentioning? This makes so little sense that it's hurting my brain. YKK time. |

I do love this new era of simulcast series. See, this is how you fight fansubs.

Not...really. I wouldn't exactly call this a blockbuster title that will do them wonders. It's more like a potential cult hit (one refreshingly free of the know-it-all second guessing served to K-On by some, I might add). I think it's a mark of confidence that they're going to dub it first thing. Hopefully it isn't misplaced; this show is very much not for me, but I certainly don't want Sentai to trip up at this stage. |

How would region-blocks help? Having global unblocked simulcasts would the only way to fight fansubs. |

I wish you were right. There's still those aholes that want their anime in full 1080p from torrents and stuff. Sadly, this is the type of show I want to own because sitting at my computer is not the funnest thing for me. Doesn't Righstuf have a licensing announcement as well? I remember something about them announcing a new anime... |

All I can say is: Cool, cool, cool, cool! Cool that Sentai is simulcasting and dubbing this series, which looks like it'll be a hit, and cool that we're getting a zombie anime.
As a zombie nerd, I've always wondered why anime doesn't really do zombie series, especially considering how insane live-action Japanese zombie movies are. I normally never bother with streaming series, since I prefer to wait for a DVD/BD release, however, those other series aren't filled with gore and zombies. Thanks, Sentai! KanjiZ: Those people who still complain will never be satisfied ever, and just want to use any justification to pirate shows. Definitely a lost cause. |

I was never really interested in it but now that it's been licensed so early, I hope they simulcast it.

Yes, "Demon King Daimo" was streamed "worldwide except for Belgium, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Macao, Japan, & Taiwan" ... but most of those countries were via Crunchy rather than TAN. Since HSotD is "TO BEGIN SIMULCASTING THIS JULY ONLY ON ANIME NETWORK", it'll get nowhere near the same reach. |

Nico Nico Douga had made a simulcast announcement, and this was one of the shows in that. There are intended for Japan, but some are not region restricted. This could be available in other markets as well. animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-07-01/nico-nico-douga-streams-6-anime-right-after-airing |
