I'm thinking you might not like Vegas at all Why would it be a waste of money? It's an attraction, it's gonna bring fans to the area, who will spend money there. |

Can you imagine a giant Johnny 5? I can't either. Nice job Japan. Way to advance your military research under the guise of tourism and public exposition. [/joke] |

What, no "GIANT ROBOT HANDS" joke yet? I'm disappointed.
And yes, put that in my backyard, please. Do you take American Express? |

it is a bit disappointing they could have at least made the arms movable instead of just the head.

my question is why they didn't get the voice actor who's character piloted it, to record his catchphrase so it can be yelled from the cockpit. ( Not much of a gundam fan btw..)

Look out, North Korea!
Moeagare, moeagare, moeagare, Gundamu! Yeah, it would be great if they could get a recording of Tohru Furuya to play from inside the Gundam, or maybe a speaker with him somewhere else. |

Quoting Frankenstein: "Look! It's moving. It's alive. It's alive... It's alive, it's moving, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, it's alive, IT'S ALIVE!"
Well ANN isn't the only one that kept track of a life-size Gundam. http://kotaku.com/5285082/enormous-gundam-is-done Read the comments on there. It's somewhat hilarious. |

they should have a guy sitting nearby hidden with a mic and have him speak for the Gundam to the people who come and look at it. They do this at like Disneyland and 6 flags. Very amusing
Only question is... where is that guy hiding at!!?? |

If the Gundam can indeed talk, I've just been dealt a major spoiler. Though I'm doubtful about it, I'd like there to be a fully-equipped cockpit in this thing, for completion's sake. |

If they make this a landmark/wonder of the world, that would be awesome. Not a waste of money in my opinion especially since it's the 30th anniversary. |

Actually, I tend to think this is a covert declaration of war on Japan's part. All the US needs to do is build Gundam Maxter, and we can settle this robot fight in a good clean battle.

i think it would be pretty cool if they build a building or something to have it on display in side so it won't get ruined. like a building for international anime convention or something. so they won't have to tear it down.
