Apparently SOME (Canadian?) Walmart list the ps3 version as releasing the 28th but the ps3 version doesnt even come out until March. Just a Walmart fail.
So yeah, same week..just wrong number. |
Final Fantasy XIV released last week.
It's only the non-Collector's Edition boxed release that is only first coming out this week.

So was I wrong about Deathsmiles? Seriously, it's been in Gamestop for months, and I cant' find anything about some special sort of release this week.

It's not that there is something special but nothing special! The price, indicates that it's a bare release, since the original was the limited box release that came with an xbox faceplate at $10 more.
Not REALLY a 'new' release, but still worth noting I suppose?

Technically that wasn't normal release, SE dubbed the Collectors Edition a "pre-release" and today the "official release". It's listed on the official website that way, they even put up a new headline, "Official FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Begins Today (09/30/2010)".
