well after listening to that my ears are fu***** bleeding. That aside why does anyone even bother with dub anymore? i can fully understand keeping the demographic open for younger fans, but come on.

Another that irks me is that Pokemon fans are still only getting DVD's releases here. It's 2015 for crying out loud.. would it kill TCPi to do a bluray release for the newer movies?

So far, I've enjoyed how well the XY season of Pokémon fared, at least when it comes to the script. As for the voices, they all sound fine, except Clemont's, in which he sounds too old for his age.

In the case of music, I agree that the frequent replacement of the original soundtracks with the Pokémon Company's in-house music has brought the quality down quite a bit, as well as the removal of the ending songs. That's where I think the English version of Pokémon XY has come up short.

In summation, while I think the English version of Pokémon XY is decent in most cases, it could have been way better.

As for movie, I'll just wait until it's out to see how well I'll enjoy it.
I can't wait too see how Hoopa will fare with its Unbound Forme.

Australia actually has Blu Rays of movies 12-15. They only stopped because the sales were not there, so I'd imagine it's probably the same reason in the US, the DVDs do well enough but not enough to warrant a Blu Ray release (And Australia does rerelease the same seasons over and over again in new boxsets, so that does say something for Blu Ray).

Best bet to keep on pleaing directly to Viz Media, who handle the DVD releases in the US, or if Japanese with no subtitles does not bother you, hunt down that Japanese Blu Ray Boxset that has movies 1-13 and most of the Pikachu shorts, along with the separate releases of movoes 14 onwards....
