It's an action manga mostly, with the mystery solving scaled down to the related cases in which the action ensues. It's like Kekkai Sensen meets Detective Conan, but it focuses more on the comedic aspects and action.

It's an action/mystery series, but it focuses more on the action side of things if anything else. The feeling that CrownKlown has is probably down to the attire that the characters are wearing. It has that aristocratic, steampunk vibe going for it which is all down to the characters being revisions of past famous authors so it all fits together.
