There's only so many words in that dusty old copy of the Japanese/English dictionary and each season crosses out a few of them 
I'm looking forward to the girls being named after various dance moves. Cure Twerk will be best girl for sure lol

Some of the first cures we got were Cure Egret and Cure Lemonade, Precure has always given random words as names.

At least, yeah, cause they've kept at it lately, I mean, yeah, the back catalog of older PreCure series have yet to appear, but maybe in the future...Here's also hoping they bring out Delicious Party PreCure around the same time too on CR.
But other than that, hopefully this one makes me more excited than KiraKira (other than the references here and there). Cause I'll check this out and see how it goes.

Other than broadly being about food (and not even remotely the same types of food), DP has basically nothing in common with Kira. From the characters and the premise, it's more in line with Happiness Charge (the core character lineup) and Suite (the evil organization stealing the local MacGuffin to start the show).
Says a lot that Kira haters apparently only have that show as a Precure reference point.
