More than just that, he has denied Perfect Blue had any influence what-so-ever with Black Swan, which is what caused people to raise their eyebrows -- especially given Aronofsky met Kon in person in the past so he would at least surely be aware of his films to some degree. http://konstone.s-kon.net/modules/notebook/archives/60 |

It’s something a lot of critics have picked up on.
