Great news! I wanted to get Clannad and After Story; however, I was waiting for Sentai to dub After Story before I bought either season.

I am really happy about this. Ever since Sentai released the dubbed version of the first Clannad series I have been waiting for them to dub Clannad After Story. I wasn't expecting them to get the Clannad movie though. I liked the Clannad movie, but I didn't love it. I really loved both of the Clannad TV series.

Clannad is one of my favorite anime of all-time and I am really looking forward to owning dubbed versions of both TV series and the movie. I wasn't interested in the exchange program for the first Clannad series and I am not interested in the one for Clannad After Story. I loved the first Clannad series so much that I kept the subtitled only releases of it and bought the dubbed version when it came out. I will be doing the same with Clannad After Story.

I do believe this time, I'll be scrapping the "upgrade" program and keep my current thinpaks just in case Sentai pulls this crap of throwing all the disks into one case on a single spindle again.

2011's list of must have anime is growing. No surprise.

Uhhh, you misunderstood. He's comparing how the movie has a better end than the series in his opinion. As in spoiler[he liked how the movie didn't go for the massive "reset button"]

This is great news indeed, I just hope they don't use those darn stack packs again. I wonder if they will dub the Movie at the same time as the After Story. Wow, I am really behind on buying series on my list of shows I like, but this one will go to the top of my list. Smile

Goddamn-there is justice after all in the world! Needless to say these are gonna be instant purchases for me. Althought I've watched both of them at least 3 times-it's gonna be nice not to have "read" it-just watch.

Great news! I'll certainly be getting the movie when it's released, but I'm quite content with the sub only version of After Story, especially if the damn thing is released in a stackpack. Mad

I also liked how spoiler[all the characters got together to get Tomoya out of his shell, instead of just Sanae convincing him to see his grandma or whoever convinced him to see his grandma in the TV series, it's been too long. I also like how it ends with Tomoya having the conviction to take care of Ushio for the sake of his dead wife. There was a similar moment of character development in After Story, but it kind of got erased after Tomoya died, went back in time, collected all teh orbs, made wish, and HAPPY END.]

The movie ending is much more simple, but it has much more meaning to me.
