I can't really see Ergo Proxy fitting in with Timbaland, probably more Apoptygma Berserk. Besides it's not like he got on the mic and said this is a dope show called Ergo Proxy, go buy it...only people who knew it that were their knew what it was...sorry repeating myself. As for calling anime in general beautiful, intriguing art form is going a little bit too far...need we look at series such as Kannon or Fist of the North Star?? Not ragging on you just bursting the bubble that all anime is well drawn or even well done for that fact...although the well done can mostly be up to personal tastes...but bad art, (I don't mean bad art like you hate andy worhal) is pretty much universal. some anime looks like it was drawn by children with learning disabilities.

I think you are confusing him with K-fed. Now there's a loser. Imagine if he had a concert and then used anime clips in his show. What kind of hell would that raise? I would hunt him down.

Anime fan in general seem very anti-american pop culture. Every time some american pop news is mention with anime/manga (paris hilton, madonna, just timberlaker, hip hop, linkin park etc) everyone got some negative sentimen and is outragedt about them. I mean a lot of the response I see are very unreasonable and really negative. It's not just "I don't like his/her music" , but it's more like HE/She/Hip Hop f***ing suck, I can't believe you listen to that stuff. Then they go off to listen to their jpop cd, in which they don't understand the lyric but think it sounds good.

BTW, timbaland been producing beats for a long ass time and he's one of the best in the biz. His beats are wild, I really would like to see a clip of djing..

How would you find out? There wouldn't be anyone at the concert to see. Wink

Damn right man. I don't get how people are gonna try and be anti-Americana and try and be as japanese as possible. Thats like the aforementioned K-Fed tryin to rap. Its scary to think that people that like j-pop and K-Fed both have this one thing in common, YOU BOTH HAVE AN IDENTITY CRISIS!!!!

Besides J-pop makes my ears bleed and it requires absolutely no musical talent at all. EVERYTHING is synthsized by machines. The girls singing those songs have little or no vocal quality. At least with hip-hop you have to have lyrics that make sense and have the ability to "flow," which most rappers today in the mainstream don't have anyways. You only hear crap by Young Joc, Young Jeezy and others being overplayed on the radio because of the major record labels, MTV, and BET.

And about Ergo Proxy being played at the concert, I don't think it matches well with Justin. Unless he's a fan of Ergo? Im indifferent about him since he broke up with Britney. But Timbaland is da man.

At least K-Fed had the smarts not to release a CD.....yet.

Timberlake? His "sex scences" in Sexyback was just plain.....Cinemax shows better sex scences!!

I'm kinda leaning on the possibility that Timbaland might be the fan than Timberlake.

It's because what Hollywood has done in the past few years is what's irking some of us to Japanese Culture. Instead of respecting the source material, they pervert it to the point that it's almost akin to the blackface of the past.

The use of Ergo Proxy in a Timberlake concert is questionable at best. It doesn't fit the high-energy beats of the concert or Timberlake. Perhaps maybe with Timberland, but Timberlake? Nah.

Which concert did you go to SakechanBD? I was at the Sacramento one.

To everyone bashing Justin Timberlake, let me just say that you guys probably haven't listened to his new music and think he's still a "boy band" and "we are men so we should hate boy bands". I admit I didn't really want to go at first cause of this same reason, but once I heard a couple of his tracks and Timbalands sick beats and mixes, I don't regret, but rather I'm glad I went. There were so many hot chicks by themselves at the concert too. It was hella cold, yet they still wore as little clothes as possible... not a homosexual environment at all.

So during the Timbaland mix when I recognized Real (Ergo Proxy), I started laughing (By then I had a couple shots of vodka, the man did toast to Sacramento for Christ sake). My girlfriend looked at me and was like, "You know who that is don't you", and I said yeah.

And this video was played during Justin's intermission.

^^Probably not.

It doesn't bother me that Timberlake used anime clips in his concert; ErgoProxy is becoming one of my favorite anime shows, too. Plenty of music artists have done it. Look up Michael & Janet Jackson's "Scream" video and KMFDM's "Juke Joint Jezebel" video. Both songs came out in the 90's. Very Happy

Since when did this become a "bash everyone's taste in music besides your own!" thread anyway? Laughing

Not that I'm a fan of Timberlake or Timbaland, I don't really care, there just seems like there's better things to fight against than music.

this post made me think of what the Zac was talking about in hey answerman. How a lot of the people who are anime fans down anything thats not from japan.

Sounds like a lot of these people are just like that.

And yes, I understand that a lot of people don't like JT. But a lot of you are coming off like japanistheonlythingforme lovers.

Shocked this stuff has been at other places? this is really pissing me off Evil or Very Mad Linkin Park i can perfectly understand, but JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!? thats just too much.

The only real difference between Linkin Park and Justin Timberlake is that some of the members of Linkin Park play instruments. They both make pedestrian music to make money. I mean, if you like them whatever, that's fine, but don't try to say that there's some sort of fundamental artistic difference between them.

What band doesn't do that? =P

Anyways, that's nifty. I personally was a big BSB fan back in the 90s(although I was 8-9 at the time...). And I haven't given any of his new stuff a listen because I only heard the chorus to sexyback, which made me rather sick.

Also, could someone inform me, who exactly is Timbaland?
