Big: MGM's gotten scared, 'cus 'Longing is $60 million, and opens in three days. So they're juicing their featurette to at least 1 million views on YT. Dump months happen, but I don't think they wanted the Sonic 2 guy to flop that badly. As for Labor Day, Spidey's coming back, so I wonder if Super can hold it's own that long.

Is it a good movie ? Worth on the big screen ?

It's a novelty that anime gets released in American theaters so that can certainly help it if you just want to go out for an afternoon and have fun. But the movie underperformed in Japan and honestly I don't think it's very good. But then I've always been very critical of the franchise since Super. It's a big step down from Broly for me at any rate.

This is the first DB movie to be #1 at the box office. Unlike DBE, the film has better word of mouth.

Kaoru: It's got a good RT score, if that helps.

Unpopular opinion, RT is never a good way for film criticism. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Blade has a rotten rating. Meanwhile, Iron Man 2 and Terminator 3 has fresh ratings.
