@leelee85

We actually don't know that. Amazon hasn't made the details of its spring or summer titles public. Until it does so, or until someone licenses them for home video, we won't know anything.

Also, Aniplex was brought up because it had Saekano season 1 and was involved in the production of Season 2 in Japan. However, AoA has generally skipped over licensing titles with exclusive streaming deals. That's why I said the chances of them licensing it are unlikely, but with a change in management, it could be possible. No one said that Funimation, Sentai, or anyone else would be unable to license them. Both Funi and Sentai have been willing to sublicense home video rights from Netflix, so they would probably be willing to release an Amazon show.

The comment you replied to was specifically on regards to Aniplex, not Funimation, Sentai, or anyone else. They weren't part of the discussion over whether Aniplex would acquire a show or not.

Altair: A Record of Battles (7/7)
Vatican Miracle Examiner (7/7)
Made in Abyss (7/7)
Welcome to the Ballroom (7/8)
Hitorijime My Hero (7/8)
Princess Principal (7/8)
Lights of the Clione (7/12)
Hell Girl 4 (7/14)
Sagrada, RoB and Re:Creators w/ more new eps!

So the question is who has Hell Girl, Altair, and Lights of Clooney? Are we looking at Sentai, PonyCan, or Aniplex for these ones?

well we have one anime that was sublicensed by funimation so we may see another one possible from this series of anime from amazon so we don't have to double pay unless they can't wait to watch some noitamina.

Sentai almost certainly has Hell Girl, since they licensed the previous 2 seasons. Ballroom is likely at Ponycan USA, since Pony Canyon is hosting the premiere at AX. I would not be surprised if Altair is an Aniplex title.

And no one has stated that didn't happen, so I don't know why you keep bringing it up. No one was discussing Funimation. The discussion was about Aniplex of America. But keep in mind that Kabaneri was licensed before Strike launched, and no one has licensed any of the exclusive Amazon series from last season yet. The deal for Kabaneri may or may not be identical to the ones for this season. We don't know.

Also, Funimation didn't acquire the home video rights for Kabaneri. Crunchyroll actually picked them up. Funimation will just be distributing it for them.

It's almost a given now that PonyCan has Ballroom. But I wouldn't be so certain that Hell Girl belongs to Sentai. I would expect Aniplex to have that one, especially as it seems they will be getting the Sentai seasons back soon. With Aniplex of Japan not allowing them to renew licenses, I don't know if it would make sense to license the fourth season.

I imagine we will have official confirmation sometime this weekend.

All these shows that seem so good with little to no chance of them receiving a dub breaks my heart :/ I wish all of these went to Funimation instead.

They won't get Vatican Miracle Examiner, Welcome to the Ballroom, Made in Abyss, Princess Principal, Hitorijime My Hero, or Love and Lies. Those are already licensed for home video and digital. The rest we don't know about yet.

The ones I mentioned have already been licensed and announced, so we don't have to wait for this weekend. You are bordering on trolling at this point...lol

Here is one article, I assume you should be able to find the rest yourself.
