I wasn't sure if I should keep wearing my DxD shirts, but decided to keep wearing 'em. Other people worked on the show. I won't let one bad guy ruin my enjoyment of the other people's work.

While I do not advocate support of pedophilia I find it unsettling how many are calling Mr. Freeman "criminal" etc. and talk of censoring material he did voice work in (in various ways) or never listening to shows he was in without being uncomfortable. Some charity please, the poor guy's VA career is likely over and he will have to rearrange his life going forward. I feel sorry for him and hope he changes as a result of this but everybody screws up from time to time, so I would admonish people to think of what they'd want others to say about them or how they would like their work (and themselves) to be viewed if they were caught doing something like Mr. Freeman did.

Freeman pled guilty to a crime. That makes him a criminal by definition. Moreover, the crime in question is one that society as a whole finds particularly heinous. I find most of the poster's negative opinions to be fairly well founded.

If someone says it would bother them to knowingly hear him preform on an anime, it is not for you or I to tell them that is wrong.

The question of his possibly turning his life around after his incarceration is complete is basically up to him. Fortunately for those here bothered by his actions it is unlikely to have anything to do with anime in general or voice acting specifically. As such it is a non issue here.

It'snot fair to Funimation for them to recal all DVDs with Scott Freeman justbecause he had child porn, that's hispersonal problem. And he's going to jail, Funi's cut him off and they've done what they feel is right.

The music industry didn't recalll all of Michael Jackson's music just becausee of eveery crazy thing he did.

They're replacing the voice actor and most people will understand why.
