How about Nyuu from Elfen Lied, not Lucy though! God help us all not Lucy. A good reason for Nyuu is that she's such a dramatic change from Lucy who's a mass murder and doesn't trust anyone, where as Nyuu is literaly mentaly retarted and couldn't harm anyone if she wanted too.

I was wondering why you haven't nominated them in your previous post, then I forgot to ask (I was half asleep...  ).
Anime which were adapted from dating sim / galgames usually have quite a few (four or more) moe characters waiting in the line. Each character has a different sub-genre of moe. Examples: ToHeart, Tsukihime, and KimiNozo. |

I counted a total of 111 nominees (there's more but I don't know how many moe characters Sister Princess and Ichigo Mashimaro have). I need to figure out the seeds. Chii, I think, will be one of the strongest contenders so I'll make her a seed. Don't know what other contenders to make seeds though.

Basically all 12 sisters in SisPri are moe in different ways, but Hinako and Aria are even more adorable due to their youger age and more childish behavior. As for Ichgo Mashimaro, although all four younger girls are cute, Matsuri (nekomimi, glasses, crybaby, worrywat) is the most moe one, followed closely by Ana (blond and sexy). While Chika is more serious, Miu is an annoying brat (in a cute way, though). See if we can gather a bit more than 128 (2^7) contestants. It would make grouping much easier. Oh, I forgot to nominate Yuzuyu from Aishiteruze Baby. She is, simply put, the most adorable anime character I've ever seen.
Wait me couple hours. I'll put up pictures of top 32 and top 16 of SaiMoe 2005, plus Most Favorite Heroine of 2002 by NewType. Those should have the priority to receive seed status, if necessary. Any nominator other than us four? |

How many do we have now? I've lost count.  If we have 128-191, we'll have the first round with 2-3 contestants; if we have 192-255, we'll have the first round with 3-4 contestants; if we have more than 256 (don't really think so), we'll need an additional round.

Reminds me an easier way to look up for candidates: characters voiced by seiyuu like Mamiko Noto, Ai Shimizu, Mai Nakahara, Masayo Kurata, Saeko Chiba, Ai Nonaka, and Tomoko Kawakami (Yura Onoda, mmm, yummy...), are often moe characters. AzuDai is pretty much "required material" for anyone who is seriously interested in anime, because it is such an influential anime. However, I don't really see "Osaka" as moe, even though I know that some people do.
About the same here. It comes back in fits and starts, but I'm pretty useless at serious coding, these days, even though I used to be an old-school programmer. I started out programming in COBOL and FORTRAN, for Finagle's sake!
"Often" != "always", but that's a handy rule-of-thumb.
Mm-hmm. Lucky fellow. Now, if it had been Itou Misaki, I'd have personally gone to Japan and iced him, out of envy.
Well, that would be a disadvantage to the real "moe shows" like Negima or Gokujou Seitokai. While I see your point, I don't think we should do that.

I don't really see Himeko as moe, though she is my favourite character - she completely steals the show. Hell, even my sons are running around saying "Ma-ho!" all the time. 
Another character that I don't find very moe, though it is obvious that she fits the bill.
