Nice haul, ShiroAkuma. I went through my cheesy OVA-buying phase last year and I'm not done yet. And I wasn't the one who bought that Welcome to the NHK volume. I have the two set version that Funi put out. Awesome title.

I was collecting the singles when that was being released. I'm glad Funi picked it up. I can't believe resellers these days though 2k?!?! 180?!  For this single Volume? that's worst than crazy. that's just wrong. who'd pay that much when there's a S.A.V.E. still available? (I think)

For as far as I know that one's still available. Paid the grand total of 15 bucks for it a couple of months ago, so the asking price of 2k is making my mind boggle (so is 180 by the way). |

yeah 2k is simply nuts. Okay, sooo do we go for the S.A.V.E.? or look like Sato here after having paid 180 for a single volume of it?

While nothing on Day T-3 interested me, it was still the final day of Yen Press and I am a manga hog. I went pretty light for me though, I was holding back.
Manga Bride's Story 4 One Thousand and One Nights 8-11 Raiders 7-9 So this completes the only two manhwa I was collecting. Raiders 9 and Bride's Story 4 are pre-orders. Both 1001 and Raiders will clear up some valuable real estate on my collecting shelves though! Anime Gundam 0079 set 2 Natsume's Book of Friends The Gundam set is for my step brother for xmas. I sold him my set 1, and now that both sets have a counter, it seemed a good chance to make sure he got it. I'm not a Gundam fan, but putting that on the order, since it wasn't already on sale, let me add a free $1 Blind Bargain Bin Item with a coupon from my catalog. This will be my first BBB, so let's hope it's not a complete hunk of junk! I remember watching the first two eps of Natsume, and liking them. Then I remember buying the first three manga and, oddly enough, disliking them. Then I watched Hotarubi no Mori e, and loved it, so I went to read the short it was based on...and disliked it. Maybe her stuff just works better as anime? So I'm hoping I will like it as I remember liking the first two eps ages ago and not dislike it as I wasn't big on the manga version. If not, it will certainly be an easy trade/sell in the future once the premium set goes OOP. Also, this is my first ever NISA set! |

Bandai's ever-dwindling stocks caused me to make a TRSI order - which I hated to do since none of the stuff I bought is related to the current sale, but you gotta do what you gotta do when stuff is hovering on the OOP cusp.

Due to the counter on Maid Sama part 1 dropping below 20 I decided not to wait until tomorrow to order:

A small OOP victory today. I had some time to kill in Glasgow before my train this evening, so I took a stroll along Sauchiehall Street to a large chain bookstore, and what awaited me there was not 1, but 2 copies of Goong volume 8! I only bought 1 but that's good enough for me!
I also picked up We Were There 15 from the comic store. |
