Hello!
The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo(CCEE) will be hosted on May 7th, 2006 at the Big Four Building in the Stampede Grounds in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Comics will be the hightlight, but this event will also feature strong elements of anime, gaming, animation, film and television too! We'll have special guests from all areas, some of these include; David Finch (New Avengers, Moon Knight) Michael Dobson (Transformers Armada, Jin Roh, Dragon Ball Z) Brian Dobson (Transformers Armada, He-Man) Kirby Morrow (voices for Gundam Wing, Inuyasha, Escaflowne, Transformers, X-Men, & Dragon Ball Z) Takeshi Miyazawa (artist of Marvel's Mary Jane) Michel Gagne (Insanely Twisted Rabbits, Iron Giant, Zed, The Incredibles) Art Thibert (Chrono Mechanics, Flash) Rich Birdsall (Chrono Mechanics) Matt Haley (Firestorm, G.I. Spy) Alberto Ruiz (Draw Magazine) Steve Silver (Kim Possible, Clerks Animated) Sean O’Reilly (Kade, Arcana Studios) Todd Demong (100 Girls, Arcana Studios) The 404s (Anime improv group) Rove (artist of Alias's Legend of Isis) …and plenty more to be announced! Never heard of it until now, thanks for the information. I don't live near Calgary but if I am then I know where to go. It's a shame Anime News Network only covers American conventions on the events page. Last year I think Anime North was on that page but I don't see it on there this year.
