I think it will definitely be an anime adaption. It probably won't be a super long one by any means, but it could definitely happen. I mean BONES did say they were making a new version of a familiar series quite awhile ago, Soul Eater NOT definitely fits that bill... Anyway, can't wait to see what comes out of it!

Because the manga was not finished at the time of the anime's airing, it takes a big turn near the end and has a very different ending arc, leaving it impossible to make a second season. |

Could this mean there's a possibility of seeing Season 2 of Soul Eater?
Or, if not that, an OVA of some sort? While I thought the ending was great, I can't help but think that there might be more to this show. Edit: Never mind, mewmewpudding101 pretty much answered my question already... |

Yeah, I had heard about the ending arc, but i thought I remembered hearing other parts changed too, or is this just me remembering incorrectly? |

Also hoping for another anime adaptation for Soul Eater (with NOT in the spotlight as well too), even if I want BONES to get back to Ouran.
A number of mini-arcs or moments are dropped which introduce abillities or allow characters aside from the main three teams to develop. Crona's behaviour is completely different from a certain point which as you can imagine is a very big deal, a good number of minor things are changed aside from that. It is to the point where you can't just "cut" off a part and continue on. |

Most likely it will be a Soul Eater Not anime adaptation, which would be cool.
Although I'd much rather a remake of Soul Eater now the manga has finished, then through in these mini-arcs into the actual anime. |

I wish it was a Soul Eater remake. I think it's too early for a Soul Eater Not anime because it'll probably be like the first Soul Eater: fillers.
