I won't hold my breath for a third season but this does sound like an interesting game to have the japanese fandom play. I'll keep note of when all the frames are found.

This brings me back to the second season; People didn't believe the Haruhi-chan ONAs were a commercial for the second season or even the "rebroadcast" for some reason. This is no where near as indicative sadly, just mildly suggestive.
The point of this is the same as the point of that: Kyoto Animation is doing new Haruhi Suzumiya work. {This is a very unsubtle metaphor to boot, if they're really fishing for interest: How hard are you willing to work to find new Haruhi animation?} Will this lead to a real project? Do cats talk? I think the real question is: Does it look like Haruhi or does it look like K-On? In short, who directed it? |

It certainly is weird timing... Maybe for that disappearance of Yuki thing? I wouldn't mind a third season if it's done by KyoAni. The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya will be hard to beat though.

I wouldn't get any hopes too high for another season of Haruhi- or any new or earth shattering content.
KyoAni is notorious for letting fans down in the Haruhi department- so this being just a promotion is probably a sure fire thing. Although it would be satisfying to see no interest in it at all and simply having fans emailing them demanding to release the content rather than hunting for it- lol
