If only Ghiblies 2 came with the US release, as it does with the Japanese Blu-ray. That curry-eating was a lot of fun... ^^

One of my favorites of their movies, really enjoy it every time I get to see it.

Tim Curry's somewhat strange

I feel like this phrase can be used throughout Tim Curry's acting career, or at least the part of his career that we're all aware of.

As long as it wasn't Tim Curry circa Criminal Minds strange, fine by me.

That one was creepy. Where's a :shudder: emoticon when you need it?

@EricJ2 - Oh, I remember Tim Curry for plenty of things. Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Wadsworth (probably my favorite), Home Alone 2. Ferngully is just one of the weirder ones for me because of that song (for a children's movie). Even the edited down version in the movie makes me think he's in constant mid-masturbation.

@prime_pm - Tim Curry in Criminal Minds? Oh, I wanna see that now!

This is one of the few Ghibli movies I have yet to see, but judging by the praise it seems to be receiving on this forum, now might be the best time to finally watch it. Especially with the blu-ray being released now. I'll probably pick it up along with Spirited Away.

Actually, I haven't seen Whisper of the Heart yet, either. I believe me, I really, really want to.
