Hey, does anyone else here build Gundam models?
I have built about 50 including 8 (soon to be 9 when I get my Nu Gundam) MG's in about the past 3-1/2 years. |

I do. I've got a couple of the 1/144th scale and a few 1/100th scale. What I really want now, though, is Hobbyfan's 1/72 scale Wing Zero Alpha, based off of the preliminary art sketches of the Wing Zero. That and their 1/8th scale Lady Une. They haven't had her in stock for the past year or so.

I also want the Wing Gundam Alpha designed by Hajime Katokie!! but it is too expensive.
I have built a few, including the Master Grade Gundam "Alex", and 1/100 Wing Zero Custom, Wing Zero, and Tallgeese III. I want to build the Nu Gundam MG as well, but have yet to find it for a reasonable price. |

Yeah I do gundam models.
I have around ..uhh... 30 or so. Of which, about 12 are master grade kits, 6 are Wing Gundam 1/100 scale kits, a few others, and only 5 1/144 scale kits. |

I finished mt last MG model this weekend (I cannot fit any more models , hell, half of my models are in storage in my basement). But anyway.. it was an MG Nu Gundam... the kit is sweet, I highly reccommend it.
Maybe I should writ a review of it for ANN....hmmm maybe. |

That's the next one I want to get, though I have yet to find it for a good price. It looks really cool, and would look great on my entertainment center
Did you order yours online, or buy it from a store? |

I got it at www.houseofanime.com.
There prices are pretty good (59 bucks plus FREE shipping). Check that place out first Gundam Shop (www.gundamshop.com) has good prices too, plus a 4.99 flat rate shipping, but I have no shopped there. |

If you are in Vancouver, BC... go to JHobby. The guy who owns it has a brother in japan who sends him the kits. As such, the prices are VERY nice.
eg: Most MG kits are $55-60CDN. The larger ones (eg: MG GP02A) are around $75CDN. PG kits are around the $200-400CDN mark depending on which kit, and the 1/144 kits are about $30CDN. SD kits are from $10-$15CDN |

Thanks for the info. For some reason those prices still seem a little high to me, mainly because I got my MG NT-1 for about $40.
$59 with free shipping is the best I've heard of though Has anyone built the new MG GM that was featured in 08th MS Team? It looks cool, but I'm wondering how it stacks up to other models. |

I have built the RX-79[G]Gundam and the Ez8, they are somewhat the same. The kits are overall are pretty easy, the only trouble is the leg beam sabre mount, plus if you want to use the beam rifle (I'm not sure if the RGM-79[G] comes with one), you are going to have to paint it.

Cool.
Wow, HouseofAnime is great! Not only do they have everything, they're retail store is also only a few hours away, and they'll be at DragonCon this coming weekend (which I might attend). |

I tried building my own Gundam model. I really did.
The finished product resembles less of a Gundam and more of a decrepit mass of glued-together red plastic. I call him, GUNDAM LEPROSY |
