I'm rooting for Golden Kamuy and Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, if either of them wins, I'll be happy. Kujira no Kora wa Sajō ni Utau is the series that recently got an anime announcement, I'll keep my eyes on this one.

Golden Kamuy is on the 2nd nomination is a row, so my money is on that "very good" entry. The award had better selections of manga (i read every single winner and many of the past nominees) but this one is alright. Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū is my favorite this time, with Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau and Golden Kamuy as the backups.

What other manga would do that for you? There are plenty of gems out there but a lot of them can be really obscure. |
