Whenever I hear Okamoto's roles such as Bakugou and the like that always scream so much, my own throat hurts lol so I'm not really surprised by these news. I hope everything goes well with his surgery and recovery!

My thoughts exactly, even the spoiler!  Also Accelerator (A certain magical you-name-it) and Zack (angels of death) sounded so crazy they must've been very straining on his vocal cords.
I hope all goes well, I just listened his singing and then this.

On the one hand, i'm tempted to ask what the hell is workplace safety laws like for voice actors that it can get to this state

We're like... 7 eps into the anime? They're definitely done with recording by now, I doubt he would go on hiatus knowing he has unfinished jobs. |
