There seem to be other subscription services, but the biggest features are no region block and simalpub?

Now this is good, though I'm not sure what to partake in with kodansha's stance on having their portfolio on another manga service (or on another graphic novel service that also caters to manga, comixology) when they have it on basically everywhere on multiple apps and sites except on shuiesha's property. This one is also available on the web which is nice as I can read it without really squinting, now the question remains is will seven seas, yen press, one peace books, fantagraphics, dark horse, denpa, etc will also join in and when.

Wonder if its like viz where all the chapters are available to read and you also have the option to buy the volumes.

Keep in mind that Viz only offers this service to the US (maybe Canada), I live in the Netherlands and I can't even pay them for the service sadly. That said I prefer buying physical copies anyway, but it's nice to give a series a test run by reading the first volume digitally. The manga plus app works great here (well it's only 3 chapters in most cases, but still)

It's very nice to see this service become available worldwide, but kind of disappointed Initial D is not included. Seeing as I missed out on the Tokyopop release the only option is buying them digitally from Kodansha and that is quite expensive for somebody who doesn't own a nice device for reading digital manga (I just use my phone).

It's available in 9 countries to be exact. A very small number I agree. Kodansha comics are available from various services but they are always incomplete. I would prefer a complete subscription even if it comes with chapter limitations and a higher price model. Maybe that's just me though.

worldwide except Japan

So is this really worldwide, or yet again "North America and perhaps some select countries"? If the former it's awesome and a step in the right direction. If the latter...
