Waiting for almost a whole year? Interesting.

Still wondering if FUNimation or Netflix could license this.

Holy crap! I did not ever expect to here Number 1 in vocal form ever again. It was fiya!!!!! Pierrot is still handling Bleach, but the trailer was fiya!!!!!!! Dat man Kudo. Also important, Soi Fon clothing is uncensored now, which is great. Now for that one GOAT scene remains unanswered.

I expected April since they were showing it now after announcing it last year. Waiting for October hurts. October isn't even the 20th anniversary anymore. Interesting director change as well. The pressure.

Aniplex is the producer so it will be in Crunchyroll and Funimation

I'd be more inclined to think Viz has it (like the rest of the anime). They uploaded the trailer themselves, complete with an English logo and a translated staff/cast list at the end. No other company would do that unless they already got the anime themselves.

Looks like the animation is trailer exclusive but damn the new designs look clean.

Well, Pierrot is the only choice who still can do long-run shounens (outside Toei, but they sure never touch Bleach) with over 52 episodes (and TYBW sure need more than that to adapt it), so that's the only monkey paw here.

But hey, at least they bringed Akudama Drive director here, which was one of the best Pierrot show in years.

Say what you want about Bleach, A LOT of people love it.

EDIT: Also, wouldn't surprise me if this continuation got sort of a canon filler to expand on some things from manga, as well as continue the story past manga.

That was a pretty cool trailer to be honest, mostly thanks to that awesome new version of Number One theme.

Finally we get an actual date, I'm so excited. The trailer looks fantastic and so great to hear the Number One song again. I don't mind waiting now I know it's definitely happening, it will be interesting to see who they pick to dub all the new characters.

It would be great if Kubo has done some tweaking with the story for the anime, there's been enough time to do that. Maybe some of the ideas he already had for the story but due to health issues had to put aside. Even if that doesn't happen I'm just so happy to finally have it animated.

I definitely see Akudama Drive's director's touch in this. The look and feel reminds me of what they'd try for a long running Akudama Drive, and it helps that the director has worked on long running affair before with Twin Star Exorcists, which I didn't care for, but I'm willing that was a while ago, and it's obvious they have improved since then

The animation seems phenomenal!

It's a shame the final arc itself is not that great, I still hope the anime doesn't adapt the rushed ending of the manga and instead allows Kubo to do what he originally envisioned
