Looks interesting. I guess they've altered the story quite a bit since there's no mention of the ward Alabaster takes on and coaxes into hate, a la Great Expectations' Miss Havisham and Estella. That was a good bit of the original's story, but it looks like they're leaning more into its Count of Monte Cristo story beats.
I don't think I like demonizing the scientist, though. Seems kind've weird when that was the only character Alabaster seemed to like. |

It looks like the KS campaign was canceled on Oct 12, 2023?
I guess they knew they weren't going to make the funding or they're going another route. |
