Man, this manga's been going non-stop since the seventies, hasn't it? I'm surprised it hasn't ended yet. I know plenty of people have taken issue with the manga's sheer length.

I can't believe the author is 88 and still publishing, hopefully she'll be able to finish it before she dies.

I suspect the hiatus was because she finally ran out of stock of those eyes (they take days to draw) and needed to take a couple months to lay in a new supply.

What astonishes me is that this manga's been going on since the days of the Ford Administration. I hope the creator finishes this one of these days. It's going to be like "Berserk" was. It's creator died before it was finished. I hope that doesn't happen here. I also hope she lives long enough for it to get an English release.
