I haven't bought a box set in a pretty long time, but that's one I'm definitely pre-ordering.

Pre-order is all ready in with Right Stuf. Wonder if Season 3 will be offered next year? Nice series, glad NIS availed this to the US market.

This was my most wished for license for the longest time. No surprise I'm getting this.

No BD release?? =(
NISA usually releases in BD/DVD combo packs so I guess we are to assume that they were not able to get the BD rights for this one?

Did the first two seasons originally come out on BD or was it an upscale?

Anyways I will be buying this just waiting to see what NISA's free gift will be before I place my order.

They were originally released only on DVD but a BD box with the first two seasons was released last June. The BD quality was perfect.

I'm curious as to what NISA's gift thingy will be too.

If NISA somehow re-releases this series on BD, I think I'm gonna bang my head since it would mean buying the series for a third time, LoL.

I'll probably get it anyways, but they're native HD and all four seasons are on BD. With Kimi ni Todoke which was also originally released on DVD in Japan, then later on BD, NISA shifted to BD for its release. I doubt that will happen here for this, but hopefully they will release the third and fourth seasons on BD and re-release the first 2 on BD as well.

The series is still quite popular here in Japan so NISA probably couldn't get the rights for a BD release due to possible reverse importation, similar to how Aniplex doesn't have the BD rights for Ao no Exorcist and can't ship it outside the U.S. and Canada.

PS Does anyone know if NISA ships their anime releases to Japan? Or am I going to have to ship it to my parents in the U.S. and have them forward it to me?

Yes, I do order from them from time to time. I was just wondering about the NISA store though in case their bonus thingy is a good one.

I am definitely getting this, though I'm disappointed about the lack of a BD. I would love to order from NIS America's store so I can get the premium item (at least if it's a Nyanko plushie Anime smile ) but I'm not sure if they ship to the u.k.?

Guys NISA does ship internationally. However I am not 100% sure if they do ship to Japan. I know Japan can be funny with reverse importation. They should ship to the UK though.

Anyways I am wondering since Natsume seasons 3 & 4 were initially released on BR (unlike S 1 & 2) we might see the DVD/BR combo pack for those seasons. I am glad to see people are still supporting the series even though it's just coming out on DVD.

Life = made.

Not only has this show gotten a license, it's being released by NISA, possibly my favorite company working with anime licenses right now. I'm only wondering how I missed this considering I was at Anime Expo and spent a good bit of time loitering/passing around their booth. I must have been in mega oblivious mode. x.x
