I can see the NGE style in that artwork but not in the figurine. Then again, the figurine artist would be someone different.

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto is my all time favourite artist!!! but I rather own that hand drawn poster than the actual figure.

Then only type figure I like to collect are mecha.

I'm not the hugest Miku fan, but some of her figures are really good. (racing Miku 2012 > other Racing Mikus!!)

This will have to float to the top of my pre-order pile.

It would have been nice if some size reference was included, like a coin or something similar. 1/8th scale means nothing when the character doesn't actually exist. Rolling Eyes

To my eyes it's the spiting image. Rei, or Asuka never looked so good. Wink
