it was really wild to be browsing some of my favorite artists and seeing Witchking00's design for Lei Fang in there.

Quote:
In the real world, Halloween is when kids dress up in costumes and beg for candy. In Girl World, Halloween is the one day a year when a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girls can say anything else about it.

That pretty much sums it up.

With so many costumes to choose from, the fighters of Dead or Alive are bound to have their Halloween fashionably heated up...

...but, unfortunately, not before spending an arm and a leg buying the entire wardrobe. I mean, seriously, $93 just to buy costumes? Confused

And here I thought the season pass for CoD was expensive. $93 for a season pass.

Holy moly, US$93? Say, that says "Season Pass 2." Does that mean this is what you have to pay to play the game for a year?

The amount of DLC costumes for DOA % is simply ridiculous. Yes I know they make lots of money from them but it just feels scummy to me. I mean charging this much and making this much over nothing but outfits for the game. I feel even worse for those that shell out the money because as long as they keep making such money off this sort of crap you can forget any sort of meaningful upgrade to the game itself.

I think the DLC outfits for 5 basically funded the entire creation of Extreme 3. Sure feels that way anyhow. To each their own I guess.

Agreed without exception. Many gaming companies these days are selling their titles with their DLC being massively overpriced. For instance, Star Wars Battlefront has a $50 pricetag for its DLC.

It doesn't help that even Nintendo is falling prey to overpricing their DLC in the case of Super Smash Bros. 4. Trying to buy all of the DLC that's currently present will cost the customer nearly $70. Even taking the Mii Costumes out of the equation, the price is still 85% of the price of the initial game.

On the other hand, Splatoon gets free DLC every week, and there's been no paid DLC for the game so far.

Yes, that is true, but to an extent...

Some of that content within that free DLC of Splatoon were finished courses that were left out of the initial game at launch. Some people weren't okay with that when they found out upon watching the more recent commercials that featured them.
