I wish Vita have more more Gundam games like PSP, game title like Gundam Breaker didn't take my interest because it is Gunpla model kit themed. I want something like Gundam Battle Universe like and I will have reason to buy this Vita Gundam case.

Theories why RX-78 is possibly the single most used Gundam in products: While there have been various series that feature multiple mobile suits labeled "Gundam", the original series had that title for the elite mobile suit. I guess some fans prefer having that title for that one elite mobile suit. That is, they prefer to Gundam be used for only the top-of-the line mobile suit and it is used by only one person at a time.
Also, because the RX-78 has essentially become the Gundam mascot, I think this a reason why Bandai/Sunrise has chosen to use this Gundam so much in their products. What Pikachu is to Pokemon and Mickey Mouse is to Disney the RX-78 is to the Gundam franchise. That is, the mascot often is what really makes the franchise sell. There is something about the mascot of a series over all characters that fans often enjoy. [/i] |
