This makes the series actually sound good and interesting. But it has a rating below 7 on pretty much every anime site, and that's generally my cut off for deciding if I want to watch an anime or not. I used to have a lower cut off, but i've seen too many series in the universal 6.??? range, and hated all of them. Might make an exception for this though.

Hey, on MAL it technically rounds off to 7/10. I say give it a shot.

This is a good essay. It proves to me once again, though, that Concrete Revolutio is a lot more fun to think and talk about than to actually watch a lot of the time. At the end, it ended up being one of my favorite shows of the season - standout episodes like Earth-chan proved the show can actually tell stories that are both competent and idea-driven - but when friends point out the problems that keep them from really getting into it like I did, I can't really defend the show much.

Definitely a good show overall though, I think. Hope that second half turns in a more cohesive and enjoyable overall experience while keeping the style and sharp themes of the first (tall order, I know).

Even though I personally wasn't enthralled with this show (I couldn't keep a lot of what it was trying to do straight in my head and you couldn't pay me to care about anyone making it more of a chore to watch.) I wouldn't trust MAL too much when it comes to forming whether or not something's worth your while.

I started this back when it was airing but i dropped it after the third episode cause it was not agreeing with me. However after reading the weekly reviews not to mention the first season review overall and than this..i decided to give it another shot and it really got better with the last 3 episodes being the greatest.

This is something you are better of seeing as a whole rather than individually and i don't really understand all of the historical references and comparison but i can get the gist of the message. Can't wait to see the second cour. those who dropped it initially should give it another shot is all i can say but i will point out that is still not a show fro everyone just so you know.

It has low ratings because too many people couldn't handle the time jumps and/or failed to pay attention while watching, and consequently thought that the show was being badly written and confusing. It's anything but - however, this is not the kind of anime that you can watch halfheartedly, or you will end up being confused.
