Code Geass Fans Clamor to Public Fukkatsu no Lelouch Promo Screening

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Two outdoor screens in Tokyo dropped big Code Geass news on Friday. Fans clamored near the screen in the Akihabara UDX business park and Shinjuku Alta clothing store to find out Lelouch Lamperouge's future.

The promotional video revealed more details about the Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch sequel project, specifically that it is a single film slated to premiere in February with many of the original television anime's staff members returning. Sunrise first announced the project in late 2016.

The 30-second video brought clapping and cheers from the large crowd.

The original Code Geass television series premiered in 2006, followed by a sequel series in 2008. The series has inspired various manga and original video anime, including the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled spinoff, which premiered in 2012.
