Haken no Kōki Altina Fantasy Light Novels Has Announcement Planned

posted on by Sarah Nelkin

Kadokawa's FBOnline online light novel magazine will post a second promotional video for Yukiya Murasaki's Haken no Kōki Altina (Altina: Imperial Princess of the Supreme Sword) light novel series on June 27. In addition, the website will have an article on the same day featuring an “important announcement” for the series.

The second promotional video will feature the return of the same cast from the drama CD that was released with the fifth volume of the series on February 28, with Ayumi Fujimura (The Sacred Blacksmith, Hunter × Hunter) as Altina, Yūki Ono (You and Me., Yozakura Quartet ~Hana no Uta~) as Regis, Satomi Satou (K-ON!, Is the order a rabbit?) as Claris, Takehito Koyasu (Fushigi Yugi, Inari Kon Kon) as Jerome, and Risa Taneda (Strike the Blood, Is the order a rabbit?) as Eric.

The story of the novels revolves around Regis, a soldier who is in fact terrible at using both a sword and a bow and arrow. After being shouldered with the blame of a defeat in battle, he is demoted to a post in a remote region. There, he meets the imperial princess Altina, the girl who would change his fate forever.

Murasaki began the novel series in 2012 with illustrations by himesuz. The sixth volume of the series will ship on June 30.

The first promotional video for the series was posted in the June of last year:
