Animax Asia to Air , Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions, Kindaichi R

Southeast Asian television channel Animax Asia confirmed with ANN that it will air the Grimgar, Ashes and Illusions (Hai to Gensō no Grimgar or Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash), and The File of Young Kindaichi R (The File of Young Kindaichi Returns) television anime series. It will also make the Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn series available on its video-on-demand service.

The sci-fi action series follows Nanakorobi Nene, a cybernetically-enhanced girl who moves to Cenancle, where she will learn that there is more to the island than meets the eye. When a super-powered terrorist attacks the island, she teams up with her new-found friends and discovers powers she never knew she possessed.
The anime will premiere in Japan on Friday.
Munenori Nawa (D.C.S.S. ~Da Capo Second Season~, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Kiss×sis) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ, and Tatsuya Takahashi (THE [email protected] MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e!, The Fruit of Grisaia) is writing the script. Takuya Tani (Strike Witches, Persona 3 the Movie #1 Spring of Birth animation director) is designing the characters, and TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing the music.
ZAQ will perform the opening theme song "hopeness." Sanae Fuku and Manami Numakura are singing the ending theme song "Lose±CoNtRoL" as their characters. ZAQ is writing, composing, arranging, and singing the opening theme song, and is also writing and composing the ending theme song. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is arranging the ending theme song.
Masamune Shirow (Ghost in the Shell) and Koushi Rikudou (Excel Saga) launched the manga in Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine in 2012. Shirow is responsible for the story, while Rikudou is drawing the art. After Newtype Ace ceased publication in 2013, the manga then moved to Kadokawa's Niconico Ace website. Kadokawa published the seventh volume in Japan last December.

The anime centers on the adventures of Haruhiro. His world is surrounded by darkness – purpose and mission undefined. He remembers nothing but his name. And when he emerges from the darkness, he is greeted by a world that seems like a scene out of a video game. To survive the seemingly dangerous and uncharted world of Grimgar, Haruhiro has to form an alliance with like-minded people and equip themselves with essential fighting abilities.
The series will premiere on Animax Asia on February 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Indonesia and Thailand, and 8:00 p.m. in Singapore and the Philippines.
The series will premiere in Japan on Sunday.
Ryosuke Nakamura (Aiura director and scriptwriter, Mōryō no Hako director) is directing and writing the scripts at A-1 Pictures. Tomotaka Shibayama is serving as assistant director with Kazuyuki Asaga and Ken Baba as key animators, and Mieko Hosoi (Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū, Psychic School Wars) is designing the characters. Hidetoshi Kaneko is directing the art, and Takahiro Mogi is the color key artist. Shinichi Igarashi is the director of photography, and Aya Hida is editing.
Toho Animation Records is forming a new project called (K) NoW_NAME to produce the opening ("Knew day") and ending ("Harvest") theme songs, as well as songs within the anime.
Author Ao Jūmonji and illustrator Eiri Shirai launched the light novel series in 2013, and Overlap Bunko published the sixth novel last October. Mutsumi Okubashi launched a manga adaptation in Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine last April.
Animax Asia describes The File of Young Kindaichi R:
Fans of renowned mystery manga Kindaichi Case Files will soon get to go on more adventures with their favourite detective. In the latest anime adaptation Files of Young Kindaichi R, the high school student has to solve the mystery of his missing friend Miyuki Nanase, who has been kidnapped while pursuing stardom as a movie body double in Hong Kong.
The series will premiere on Animax Asia on March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in Indonesia and Thailand, and 8:00 p.m. in Singapore and the Philippines.
The series premiered in Japan in April 2014. The second season premiered last October.
