Sword Dynasty Anime Based on Chinese Web Novel Reveals Japanese Cast

The staff of the Sword Dynasty animated series announced the cast for the show's Japanese broadcast on Monday. Japanese company EMT Squared produced the animation for the series.
The cast includes (Note: Character names listed with phonetic Japanese pronunciation.):
Toshiki Iwasawa as Chen Ganshu
Yūji Ueda as Ryō Ren
Kōhei Amasaki as Fūsō
Mai Nakahara as Yasaku Rei
Chiaki Omigawa as Merchant's Daughter
Mitsuki Saiga as Chō Yon
Yumi Hara as Haku Sansui
Yuriko Fujizaki as Teishū
Kanako Itou (Steins;Gate, Occultic;Nine) is performing the opening theme song "Shukugō no Ken" (Sword of Karma) for the Japanese version while Yumi Hara is performing the ending theme song "Ibara no Tōtō" (Glow of Rose).
The anime is based on a Chinese web novel and has already streamed on China's iQIYI platform. The Japanese version will premiere on January 5 on Tokyo MX.
The story takes place in the twilight years of the Qin Dynasty, and follows a young man who will dismantle the Qin Dynasty and create the Sword Dynasty.
