Pastel Memories Game Gets Manga in December

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Game's anime adaptation premieres on January 7

The official website for Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine revealed on Tuesday that Kairaku Kano will launch a short mini-series manga adaptation of FuRyu's Pastel Memories smartphone game in the magazine's February 2019 issue on December 27. The manga will have a color center page in the issue.

The game is also inspiring an upcoming television anime that will premiere on January 7.

The "otaku girls" role-playing game takes place "a little bit in the future in 20XX." Akihabara, which was once called "the otaku holy land," is now in decline after otaku culture itself has declined. Players take on the role of a manager of one of the few remaining "otaku shops." The manager helps to "raise" various talented otaku girls, and together, players and the girls battle a "virus" that is infecting the world of various works, while also retrieving people's lost "memories."

FuRyu released the game in October 2017.
